What is the law? That you have to get married in a civil ceremony for it to be legal in Godâs eyes?  Iâm just thinking out loud here, JD. What about those who donât see it that way?  I know their marriage isnât recognized by the State, but should that matter to Believers? (Why am I asking youâyour track record stinks!) J  Izzy

No, it would  be illegal.   The government determines these laws and we are asked to submit to the government   ...................    so Kathy and I did.   We showed our subtle contempt for the secular world when we proceeded with a "Christian" ceremony.  We could have combined both, you know, but the "pastor" for the ceremony was not licensed by the State.  THAT is the initial reason we went the way we did  .............    and we honored that second service.   I must mentioned that Kathy actually wanted to consummate the marriage after the 15th ceremony  (if or when you ever see a picture of me, you will understand her eagerness) but we remained pure until the 24th.
