JD, only the legalists among you want a list.  The non-legalist Conservatives realize that if you have the Holy Spirit in your heart you donât need a list.  And if we gave you a list it would only give you something else to argue about.  Izzy

Either you know what these essentials are Izzy or you don't.   You all are so quick to speak judgmentally about virtually anything that is written by the Righteous Triad   --  and you, Judy, Deegan, David and Terry do not criticize the same things  -----    so excuse some on the left for having no clue what you all believe to be "essentials."

The point of course for asking for a list is to make it clear that there is no list.   That is the point.    It is Christ.   He is the list.   We don't have to be right or agree on anything else    --------------    actually, we have to agree on Christ.   If the New Covenant is the individualized relationship of God in Christ with man  (Jere. 31:31-34),   then our relationship  --  the assembly of the saints  --   is all about encouraging the others to love and good works.

You and the others speak of "essentials,"  speak of the "necessity" of corporate agreement, accuse those who disagree with being controlled by the "Accuser,"  yet, consistently refuse to offer any comment, biblical or otherwise, as to what this agreement includes.  Judgment without content
