The Branch out of dry ground is the Messiah - Christ JD, same one as the rod from the stem of Jesse (his
genealogical line) with same character ie: He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, nor decide by the
hearing of His ears, but with righteousness he shall judge the poor and decide with equity the meek of
the earth.  The exact same one who is referred to in Matthew 2:23.

Actually, Judy  --  Caroline is making a good point.   You have argued against many times that scriptures "says what it says."
Yet, you are not willing accept your own demands.  I am not aware that anyone makes your argument. Apparently, "Nazarene"
has something to do with "branch,"  "sprout,"  or "shoot" and may be tied to to Is 11:1.   I don't know  --
going to Numbers 6:2 doesn't come close, for me.  Jd

Yes they did; it is Numbers 6:2. He is prophet, priest, king and priests separate themselves.
Matt 2:23 is not specifically just a place name.  jt

But did they find the OT verse that Matthew was referring to in Matthew 2:23 when he wrote:

"and he went and lived in a town called Nazareth. So was fulfilled what was said through the prophets:
"He will be called a Nazarene."  Love, Caroline
