After your posted charge that I was motivated both by Satan and a hatred for Believers  -- you became Linda Shields to me  --   we do not serve the same God or Christ.   I make no judgments as to your personal faith or God's plans for you,   believing that He is bigger than our failures.   Fellowship is not possible with such a determination on your part.  Simply put, you do not speak to me as a "sister."

I am sending this again, as it doesn?t seem to have come through on my computer.  Why is it that some emails end up disappearing, while others are sent much later or in the wrong order?  There must be a clog in the pipeline causing my emails to get stuck! Izzy

I agree with your last sentence, Lance.  All humans have sins in their past, but their sins are not the reason they were placed in God?s ?hall of faith.?  Let?s not denigrate those who God has chosen to honor.  And let?s not keep bringing up their sins to justify our own continuation in sin on any level.  I must tell you earnestly that I have no bitterness against JD, and have to reason to.  I am simply trying to come along side him in sisterly admonition.  Izzy

Samson warrants the denigration. Lotsa bad folks wound up in God's 'hall of faith.'  We're not his adopted children because we deserved it.

Your response is more of an indication of such, Lance.  I simply see JD constantly denigrating Samson in a very unusual manner as an example of it being acceptable to be a God-follower and a sinner at the same time.  It?s a definite pattern.  See this quote from just a few minutes ago:
 
Yes, Judy, we have been over this befroe.   And nowhere in any Bible I have in my collectional is there a statemnt of any kind that mildly suggests that Samson repented of his womanizing ways..... not a hint.  At the same time  --  he acknowledges the God of his fathers and relies on Him in the only ways he (Samson) can................. spiritually speaking,  a very immature child of God, but a believers.

IMO your repeated accusations of JD are an indication of a 'root of bitterness'1 Why are you so angry at JD that you feel the need to pepper him with such a tone as this?

I think the unspoken assumption here is that unlike King David, Joseph Smith
never repented of his adultery, but rather gave prophecies which justified
it and pronounced curses upon his original wife Emma if she did not accept
his other women.  Jesus taught us to spot false prophets by their fruit.  We
don't gather grapes from thistles, and so we expect godly character from
true prophets and ungodly character from false prophets.
 
Note that Balaam was a false prophet not because he failed to speak for
Yahweh, nor because he spoke falsely in his name, but because he had a
covetous heart.
