Wrong, John.  I taught almost word for word what you just typed at home 
church last Sunday night.  I will be teaching similar things tomorrow night 
except the emphasis will be on the place of the law with Romans 7 as the

Not so.  I believe you follow Paul fairly closely on this, as do I.  The 
primary difference is that I perceive that when God's consideration of you 
is that you are righteous, well, then you are righteous.  Abraham's faith 
was counted to him for righteousness, but he was a pretty righteous dude in 
his works.  That's why the Jews missed it so much.  They focused upon his 
external attributes rather than his internal attributes.

For the record, I do not see anyone as sinless based upon personal effort. 
I have stated such many times.
