Yes! Exactly. This is exactly what my father is
saying.

When you take your eyes off of yourself and learn to
seek God then you will live a righteous life as a
righteous, favored child of God.

Somehow (it seems) you read our posts to say we should
become obessed with obeidience to God, which should
logically (and practically) lead to frusteration. But
no, that frusteration shouldn't occur if you aren't
being self-absorbed in your walk.

However, (and I think this is where you became
uncomfortable with my father's teachings) a follower
of Christ WILL live righteously. Because of my love of
God I will recognize gossip as it happens and rebuke
those present or refuse to participate. But those who
become frusterated, and wallow in their weakness, are
doing just that: wallowing. They are not climbing out
of it, and maturing to new levels of knowledge in
Christ. When you truly love God, you will love Him in
all you do. Another way of phrasing that is, when you
truly love God, you will not sin in all you do.

Better?

Blessings!
