Judy, I will point out that this is typical of your tendency to misread or distort. I did not say that Christ cannot live without us, and I don't think you truly believe that I did.

In another post today, you wrote: Any doctrine that does not lead ppl professing Christ into godliness and
holiness is a doctrine of devils.

Doctrines cannot lead people into godliness and holiness, so I guess all of them are from the devil. But the doctrine you are slamming has no conflict with encouraging people to live godly and holy lives, nor does it demotivate people. On the contrary (as I've said numerous times) it suggests a different and powerful motivation.

Can you explain to me how and why you see this as such a profound truth Terry?
What is the chain? Can it be seen in scripture and who says Christ can not live without us?
If God can make rocks cry out - what are his limitations?   jt

Terry writes:
This is without doubt the most profound truth stated here today.  Possibly, for all time.  Terry

We are the weak link in the chain.
To the extent we are able to live out our reconciliation to God at all, it is because of Christ in us.
But it is not Christ without us who lives.
