And while I am metaphorically “sitting with Christ in the heavenlies”, my physical body is not—it is right here, going downhill, even as my spirit person is getting better every day in Christ.  So is my spirit in a different place than my body, Bill? Of course not.  This shows that one can use a metaphor to express something that is not a physical reality. Can one be spiritually dead w/o being physically dead? I am talking about your existence, your being, that which holds you together and sustains you, and makes you real and gives you life. You do not have the power of existence in or of yourself. You are totally dependent on another for that. Neither does anyone else have this power. All existence is in Christ Jesus. It is in him that the real you exists.
