I have tried to explain this many times before. There is no physical reason
for the virgin birth whatsoever. The virgin birth was only a sign. Nothing
more. Read Isaiah 7:14. Signs in the past included the sun standing still
or the sun moving backwards. This did not have to happen. They were signs.
A sign in the present is speaking in tongues. It does not have to happen.
There is no biological reason for it. It does not equip people to
evangelize foreign nations as some have speculated. Speaking in tongues is
a sign.

The virgin birth was a sign by God. There is nothing Biblical that would
force it to mean more than that. People will speculate and come up with all
manner of false theories. Some say that the blood comes from the father, or
that the sin nature is passed on by the father, and all manner of wild
speculations that are completely false. The truth is that God gave a sign,
the virgin birth. He could have done it another way if he so chose.

Peace be with you.
