OK I see it wasn't a typo.  Hope putting the "not" in hasn't muddied the water :)

What does this mean, biblically speaking:
"the prince of this world had NOT been given a hook in Him
as He has legally in the rest of us"

Oophs!  Thanks for bringing that to my attention JD, it is a typo
The word NOT has been left out.  Should read "had NOT been given"

Also, if we share in the same death as Adam's because of our own personal failures
as relates to righteousness  (Ro 5:12),  there can be no such thing as original sin. JD

Why not??  We are by nature children of wrath (Eph 2) why wouldn't a person do
what comes naturally?

I know I'm not Terry - :(
Jesus' body was a temple of the Holy Spirit and the other spirit had nothing in Him (John 14:30)
Biology aside, if the prince of this world had been given a hook in Him as He has legally in the rest of us
He would not have been fit to be a sacrifice for the whole world.

Are you suggesting that He was not really human?

I am stating with absolute certainty that He was no mere mortal.  He was God, who loved me enough to take on the likeness of a man, complete with self imposed limitations.
