I don't disagree with Romans 5:12 or Ezekiel 18.  The righteous judgment of God says that every man
will be rewarded for what he has done.  The prince of this world has been given legal access to us
by the sin of A&E when the dominion given to Adam by God was compromised.

We DO escape judgment for our disobedience  --   Heb  2:2-3 (if we are in Christ, of course.)
jt: Being "in Christ" meaning that we change directions and begin following the new or "divine"
nature which is the indwelling Holy Spirit.

You stress locomotion and I stress location, location, location.

By one man sin entered into the world and death through sin - which spread because all have sinned and
by one man the gift of righteousness is given and this spreads the same way because the one who does
righteousness is the one who is righteous. 1 John 3:7 - Agreed????

" ....   which spread because all have sinned ...."  is the very thought that eliminates original sin.
Soi, yes,  I agree.  JD

jt: Do you agree that righteousness spreads the same way JD?  Sin spreads when like the old song
"We're doin' what comes naturally" just followin' the old fallen flesh around....  judyt

No I don't.   Righteousness is a gifted consideration   --  God exchanges faith for our personal righteousness.    What gets us saved keeps us saved.   In Ro 4,  Paul nowhere implies that the exchange of faith for righteousness is an initial consideration or a temporary one   ----------------   until we get up to speed with the acts of righteousness thingy.  No  --  this exhange is a perpetual one  (wake up, G !!!  You're missing all the fun).
