Ah so. How soon we forget. Sin is a word used by archers way back then. It means to miss the mark. They did not have a bulls eye target in those days. Just shot their arrows at a mark on a tree trunk or some such. As adopted by those who wrote scripture, sin means to miss the mark set for us by God.
