We have trickery verses the real.
As far a Revelation -- the apocalyptic is not about the apocalyptic. Specifically, the word used in this text is sameion (as opposed to dunamis ) and is translated "signs" in the NASV. The fact remains that Stan has no real power. His power was destroyed at the cross.
If, for example, Robert Tilton is found to be a false prophet, we would expect to see a great deal of trickery that many unsuspecting souls would call a "miracles."
