I fear the trickery in this post, dear Brutus, was yours.

What about the lies that wear a cloak called

They didn't make it either .... Better tighten up

... YOU ARE DOING THEOLOGY.
Please tell me that ... you do understand and,
agree with what I've just said.
There are some rather profound observations to be made about Judy's
comment,
and I wonder if they escape your attention. First, she makes a point that
if trickery is all that Satan is about, then the theologizing that brings
deceit deserves our attention all the more. It may actually deserve
center
stage, if lies, deceit, trickery is what Satan is about. Secondly, she
brings forth a passage that uses the Greek word "dunamis" and attributes
it
to those who think they were doing many mighty works in the name of the
Lord. This, mind you, was in direct reply to JD who claimed that because
"dunamis" was not used in reference to Satan's power, then he must have no
real power, but only fakes it.
Matthew 7:22
(22) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied
in
thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many
wonderful works [dunamis]?
Isn't it amazing how she does this without even knowing Greek? But the
Spirit knows Greek, doesn't he. :-)
Peace be with you.
David Miller.
