Watching FoX News. Katrina is a sad situation. Shepherd Smith, one of the news anchors on that network just
interviewed some (a 100 or so) spending the evening in a local bar,
partying. They are going to stay in the bar(s) and "ride" the storm
out there. Only the 4th level 5 storm to hit the US ever --
coming right in or New Orleans. The rain has begun, 2p.m. pacific
time and they are closing the bridges right this minute.
