Perhaps I should have said "fully know of Christ's actions in saving man."   It is Paul who draws out some of the comparisons between Christ and Adam.   And,  I believe his (Paul's) references to the conscience included A & E and the garden experience.  
 
We can "know Christ" without reading a single line in the Bible.....but we cannot fully understand Him apart from that revelation.   That is what Torrance believes  --  and he is in good company.

He would agree that you cannot know of Christ without understanding the nature of the fall.
 
 If he believed this, he would be dead wrong.  Many people have come to know Christ before they even knew the book of Cenesis existed.
