Good!
'Holy Spirit would guide us into all truth' I take this to reference The One
Who Is THE TRUTH' namely Jesus Christ. The other is demonstrably false. One
only need read anyone over time, including yourself, to illustrate this,
David.

As to my perception of you, David, I agree with
your last paragraph. However, having allowed for
the absence of intent when misinterpreting or
misapplying Scripture yet are you one of these.
It seems to me that the word "twist" implies intent because it carries the
connotation of action, of doing something to the Scriptures to make it fit
some other notion than what it was intended to mean. If you reframe your
statement to use the word "misunderstand" rather than "twist," then
perhaps
it would be closer to your intended meaning. However, there still would
remain a problem because the promise of Jesus Christ is that he would not
leave us in the state of being subject to deception, but rather, we are
promised that the Holy Spirit would guide us into all truth.
Peace be with you.
David Miller.
