And what of Judy's notion that Jesus was neither the eternal Son of God or God on earth? What do we do with sister Taylor.

You certainly do make sense, in that I understand what you are saying, but I differ in that I KNOW the jesus and god of the mormons is a different Jesus and God than I worship. Joseph Smith may have started with the Jesus and God of the Bible, or maybe not, but whether he did or not, they are not the same today.
My human brothers may share a different destiny than mine, but my Christian brothers all share my destiny. Based solely on their religious beliefs I cannot call any mormon a Christian brother. Before I would consider them as such they would have to denounce the teachings of Joseph Smith and denounce the false christ and god of mormonism.
