No I have never stated that. I would like you to
show me where I did since you are making this claim.
I think you didn't understand what I did say. As
to the eternal sonship. I don't see the preincarnate
Christ called a son in the OT and in the Book of
Revelation he is once more called The Word of God.
So I question whether this is a scriptural concept of
if it is more "tradition" I wouldn't call my stance
"denial" per se. If you can show me in the Bible
where he was always an eternal son definitively -
and why it is so important, you've got it.

Are you telling me that you you have not stated that Christ incarnate was not God on earth but the representative of God? Are you telling me that you have never denied the eternal sonship of the Christ? I will accept your answer at face value -- but I specifically recall both.JD

Here you go JD doing the same thing you have just accused me of.I have never made definitive statements about either of the points below; what you havewritten is your own surmisings about what I believe. Doing unto others as you wouldhave them do unto you is the golden rule is it not? jtOn Mon, 17 Oct 2005 19:27:15 -0400 knpraise@aol.com writes:And what of Judy's notion that Jesus was neither the eternal Son of God or God on earth? What do we do with sister Taylor. John,
You certainly do make sense, in that I understand what you are saying, but I differ in that I KNOW the jesus and god of the mormons is a different Jesus and God than I worship. Joseph Smith may have started with the Jesus and God of the Bible, or maybe not, but whether he did or not, they are not the same today.
My human brothers may share a different destiny than mine, but my Christian brothers all share my destiny. Based solely on their religious beliefs I cannot call any mormon a Christian brother. Before I would consider them as such they would have to denounce the teaching s of Joseph Smith and denounce the false christ and god of mormonism.
