DAVEH:   Thank you for responding with a serious answer, Dean.

Yes Doc. correctness is a must at the point for salvation.

DAVEH:   Dean.....to make sure I understand you correctly, are you suggesting that all Christians who are saved must believe in correct doctrines?

cd: Not the entire truth of God's word because we grow in understanding. For salvation the initial belief in Christ's ability to remove sins MUST be present and there Must be a williness to stop the sin (repent)-We get this understanding of our sins (ie. called convictions) from God's Spirit which is Holy (ie. the Holy Spirit). If a person does not receive these convictions then he has no hope. One more thing every mouth MUST confess Jesus is Lord-that comes with our testimony and not a physical feeling like a burning in the chest -as Mormons believe- because we are not saved by signs but instead by faith.

If that is what you believe, may I ask if that is simply your belief apart from common Christian belief, or is that a tenet of Protestantism that is predominantly accepted?

cd: The entire Christian MUST hold this simple child like belief.
