Something else we should consider Kevin is James 1:13 "God can not be tempted with evil" whereas Matt 4:1, Mk 1:13 and Lk 4:2  all document how the man Jesus was tempted of the devil for 40 days in the wilderness.  What I am saying has nothing to do with logic, philosophy, or the tradition of men.  What I am saying is that when we impose our own doctrine tradition, and/or orthodoxy on God's Word we make it contradictory .....  and my question to you is: How can the fulness of the Godhead bodily be tempted with evil???

Why not the Christ who walkd this earth?
 
Because the Christ who walked this earth layed a lot of things down to become "like" us so that He
could leave us an example that we should "follow in His steps" along with the fact that Colossians
and Philippians are epistles written to the Church and reflect the reality of the resurrection in Christ
as well as in us.  judyt
