As to date of your historical authority, the Hipp man,  I confused the date of a list his name appears in.   Your dates are correct.   He is the same man who leaves the Church,  declares himself anitpope and makes himself a successor to the Apostles.   His comments about Mark, nearly 200 years after the fact, and the only such comment I am aware of,   do not give me much confidence.  A preference on my part, to be sure.
