cd: Is Jesus male or female John/Lance/Bill-If he is God as you say
what is he?
Jesus is a man, Dean, and he is God -- two natures
in one person. Please stop confusing the two.
You create God in Adam's image, and Judy calls
us earthly minded: what a joke! Have you considered how close you are getting to
a doctrine which claims that God the Father came down and had
physical-sexual intercourse with Mary? You do claim he is male, don't you?
That's like saying, since he has the equipment, why didn't he use it? This is
ridiculous. "Male" is a physical/biological term. "Father" is a relational term,
the same with "Son." You don't have to confuse the two. Yes, sometimes
these terms coincide, but they are not requited to. Please,
brother, stop with the accusations and smears (what has gotten into you?!),
and just consider for a moment what you are suggesting: that God, being Spirit,
has to have male attributes, over against female or a mixture of both -- as
if he must have something between his legs or he can't be God. My
gosh, people, he is Spirit; he is neither male, nor female -- nor
both. Stop with the foolishness.

I have preached this for years, Dean No one I know is the lest
bit confused. Apparently you think that you have to keep all 613
of the commandments and I think that such a claim
is a false gospel.
Your message is not Good News to anyone who is a sinner and Christ died
for that sinner - not for the righteous.
And verse 8 still speaks of sin IN THE PRESENT TENSE. So
you can twist and turn all you want.
I'll stick to the "good news" while you are sunning poeple out
the back door by the boat load.

Rightousness (jd 2 cd)
This time it is John, not Lance, Dean. And verse
8 is in the PRESENT TENSE, not the past. "If you say YOU ARE
HAVING not sin, you are a liar. "
cd: John one cannot take v. 8 and make it stand without
the frather explaination of verse 10 and that conflicts as to
create a dishormony also with:
1Jo 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not:
whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
what you are offering is weak and confusing John and God
is not the author of confusion.
----------------------------------------
And in very 7, the blood of Christ "keeps on
cleansing." Present time or past?
Cd:It does keep on cleansing if repentence is there John as I
have shown in many verses-of course unless one goes too far the God will
not always walk with man..
--------------------------------------------
And the Heberw writer speaks of the sacrifice FOR SIN to be "once
and for all time."
.................................. not just past
time.
cd: I did a bible search for "Once and for all time and could not
get a match-which verse in Hebrews are you refering to?
Go refigure.

And he says he has no sin is a liar ----- I John
1:8
cd: Lance read the rest of it. It is speaking of why one
needs salvation (all have sinned)and in verse 10-it clearly
shows the sins to be past tense" If we say we have not
sinned..."
1Jo 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we
deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1Jo 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is
faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness.
1Jo 1:10 If we say that
we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not
in us.
cd: Now add that to:
1Jo 2:12 I write unto you, little children,
because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake.
cd: And add that to:
1Jo 2:28 And now, little children, abide in
him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and
not be ashamed before him at his coming.
cd: Now add that
to:
Jo 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in
him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
1Jo 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin
transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
1Jo 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to
take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
1Jo 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth
hath not seen him, neither known him.
cd: This is how one should interprete the Bible
Lance to form a clear picture.A clear line of support that can
continue on to more verses-then the other passages come into view
with clarity-not taken out of context and stand alone without
support.

"words Christ spoke", "words Bible
says" = TRUTH ?? ACTUALLY Dean, it is the
interpretation that you've drawn from both. This is pretty much
hermeneutics 101.
cd: If that is to be true-then the
words of the Bible have no meaning-due to
interpretation.Yet this gospel has the ability to convey
meaning without help from any outside sourse.Lance I will add
nothing to the words below-Do they have meaning on their own
without any interpretational help??
1Jo 2:4 He
that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the
truth is not in him.

You have done two things with this post. First,
you have made it clear that we are no longer discussing
anything -- accusing those who do not agree with
you as calling Christ a liar
----------------- a lie in and of
itself!!!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
cd: John -All I am trying to do is make you
think. It is not me you are disagreeing with it is the words
Christ spoke. Christ /Bible says one thing you say the
opposite-both cannot be correct. To state something other
than what is written is to oppose what is written-see beolw.
You state no one can lose his salvation-the bible says
otherwise-someone is not speaking truth -think about
it.
------------------------------------------------------
Secondly, because of your predilection to works
and your view of the gospel, you feel absolutely no need to
square your claims with any number of seemingly opposing
scripture.
It makes no difference to legalists that they have no
message of hope in the offing for those who continue to be
addicted to one sin or another. I am not interested in
a hopeless gospel.
-------------------------------------------------------
cd: Well then we will see, in time,if it is
hopeless gospeland as you are not interested I retire
sir.

Yes. One can't detract from our salvation and
the Other won't !!
cd: The why did God say such wrong statements? He
said He would 'detract"-Why would Jesus lie me? I
need to ask him; " Jesus why did you lie to me and say
the things of Rev. 3 and Matt. 25-John , Gary,Bill
and Lance told me you were lying".That will be
included in my prayer tonight.
Rev 3:5 He that
overcometh, the same
shall be clothed in white
raiment; and I will
not blot
out his name
out of the book
of
life
Mat 25:26 His
lord answered and
said unto him,
Thou wicked
and slothful servant,
thou knewest that
I
reap where I sowed
not, and gather
where I have not
strewed:
Mat 25:27 Thou
oughtest therefore to have
put my money to the
exchangers, and
then at my coming
I
& amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; lt;
/FONT>should have received
mine own with usury.
Mat 25:28 Take
therefore the talent
from him, and
give it unto
him which
hath ten talents.
Mat 25:29 For
unto everyone that hath
shall be given, and
he
shall have
abundance: but
from him that
hath not shall
be
taken away even that
which he hath.
Mat 25:30 And
cast ye the unprofitable
servant into outer
darkness: there shall
be
weeping and gnashing
of
teeth.

isn't it interesting, such

divine?
Never thought of it from that
angle. An absolutely excellent
point.
