We decided to include the patch for the next release for two reasons:
- this issue will be tested by translators (we do not usually
develop using other languages) so the issue would have been
tested only in 6 month. With the release being in sight we think
that we have time to gather feedback and fix the bugs (if there
is any ;)).
- third party software might want to use this system asap
