Thomas,
You say you wanted to enable ssl for "one of your domains". You must
know how you have configured apache to handle multiple domains.

If you have one ip address for each domain, then it's possible to have
ssl for each domain, otherwise you are using name-based virtual hosts
and then your options are limited.
