I did an install with 8 interfaces and the only problem I faced was outlined in the OP. >>The Viper installer does not really seem better than Anaconda to me, >>just different. I also found the installer short and precise, with sane defaults. My only grief was doing an online install with the mini-iso: - First installed without applying 'check for latest security updates', and selected minimum install plus firewall. Apparantly the packages for sshd-server and iptables weren't on the CD, but I got no warning or complaints. - I then tried selecting the same packages plus marking 'check for latest security updates'. Chose a mirror, and installed. Now the installer fetched all packages online. Obviously the 'check for latest security updates'-option does more than just check for updates, it does a complete online install it seems. A better name for this option should be considered? But the installer has just the right ammount of questions and I found it very easy to use. Network configuration a lot better than in anaconda. (Trustix is a lifesaver in my job, no question about it.)
