Any partition is an EVMS Container. In Viper, the 3.0 installer, we use evms for everything including normal partitioning, raid and lvm. So EVMS supports normal partitioning as well as RAID and LVM and thus replaces all of fdisk, parted, mdadm, lvm, etc kind regards c -- Christian H.
