Hi All,
I've been using 2.2 for a while now and I'm very happy with it
but I'm looking at setting up a server for a friend who runs a small
production company (5 users). With the list below should i stick with
2.2 & upgrade later to 3 or start with 3.0 now. Has anyone had issues
implementing any of the following on 3.0?

I've setup most of these before but without some of the extra features
so any comment on the following would be appreciated:

Squid with DansGuardian with ClamAV - Good combination? I should be
able to do the simple filtering needed with just the basic squid rules
but thought i might add the extra functionality.

Postfix Email server with Courier IMAP - Just needed for use with
Outlook & a webmail client.

Webmail - Neo Mail? Any suggestions here? Just needed for simple web
based email checking, though needs to work with above.

VPN - I've setup Linux to Linux VPN's before with ipsec but i need it
for remote WinXP laptop's to connect in. Anything else needed or other
suggestions?

Looking at bacupuppc, mondo or flexbackup - Any suggestions?

Here is a short list of the setup:

Software Mirrored HD's
iptables Firewall with dmz (3 nic's, lan, net, dmz)
Squid with DansGuardian with ClamAV
Postfix Email server with Courier IMAP & amavisd-new, clamav and
spamassassin & web mail
Samba File Server with Samba.Backuppc for backing up/syncing data on laptops
CUPS Print Server
Hylafax server with hayes internal PCI modem (print to fax for outgoing,
incoming faxes will be converted into pdf & emailed),
VPN for WinXP laptop to connect in remotely
ProFTP server
Backup to DVD/External HDD

Should be a nice little server once I'm done.

Thanks

----------
