I installed multiple times TSL 3.0 just to solve a problem with web based email and I give up asking for help...
I didn't "touch" cyrus at all. I was fighting only with courier. I was trying to make it work with a web based email client, squirrel mail. But even with the version in swup contrib even with the fresh one on squirrelmail.org I have multiple problems. Not exactly multiple but one problem per time. The deal: In squirrel's mail conf in folder options if I try to change it to Maildir/ then when I log in in the left frame (the frame with inbox - sent - draft options) I get the error message "cannot create Maildir/Sent" I think that it just cant create anything to work with the Maildir/ option in Folder Options. Tried to "play" with permissions but nothing. I tried the "wizard" to guess the options nothing again. It's something wrong with the folder. If I change it to none (nothing) then it works, it sends mail but it didnt show me the incoming mail. I guess none mail goes to inbox directory. Now the catchy one. If I change it to INBOX. then It works BUT it will show me eg INBOX - SENT - DRAFTS etc in the left grame but when I click the INBOX link it shows me nothing. Nothing. Not mails but nothing at all at the right frame. Whats the catchy one? With the last option (INBOX) in the folder's option I can only see emails of root. Yes I can see onlt root's mail and work normally but everyone's user INBOX is gone. Any solutions ? I just installed for another one time TSL 3.0 and left it untouched with both cyrus and courier and waiting for any ideas. And another one catchy problem with mails. In shell if I write #mail I get the error message "Maildir is a directory".
