I concur. Quote and trim is fundamentally important for mailing list communication. The point most often forgotten is trimming of quoted text >> Currently,we are working on customizing anaconda and porting it to TSL. > > what customizations are you working on? > I'd say the anaconda from 2.2 was perfectly fine.... There are the issues related to RAID, solved in 3.0 by the horribly botched introduction of EVMS. Now, I myself have never really used RAID much, mostly because I find RAID-0/1 largely useless. I would use RAID-5 however, if I were to build a new file server using todays large disks where backups are cumbersome, whilst the loss of data from a single failure would be enormous. Just a few years back, a loss og 45GB was something of a blow, but I could easily regain the stored data from several sources.. But now that I've started to use 500GB disks, a single failure is more catastrophic. -- Morten :wq _______________________________________________ tsl-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.trustix.org/mailman/listinfo/tsl-discuss
