When I call save on an object Torque doesn't seem to be properly handling
certain characters such as ' and ". I get weird crap after the insert is
performed. For instance:

TEXT AFTER INSERT (i did a select in mySql to get this)
Federal Computer Week named SSB one of the ?Top 10 companies to watch? and
concluded, ?Of the compliance software we?ve seen, InFocus offers the most

TEXT AS IT APPEARS WHEN RETRIEVED AGAIN VIA TORQUE
Federal Computer Week named SSB one of the Top 10 companies to watch and
concluded, Of the compliance software weve seen, InFocus offers the most
power. A Government Computer News analyst stated, The best tools Ive seen
for Section 508 compliance come from SSB Technologies.

Has anyone experienced the same problems? Do you know if there is a debug
property I can turn on to view the SQL generated to create inserts on a
table? Any suggestions?

I would think that Torque is generating prepared statements which should
handle the quotes properly.

I'm using MySQL v. 3.23.53 and org.gjt.mm.mysql.Driver.

Thanks,
Tony
