Now I am really confused.  Firstly, I did build the plugin myself. 
Secondly, I used the version of maven available from the website
download page.  This version is currently labeled 1.0-beta-9.  I'd like
to assume the difference in naming convention is insignificant, however
my plugin obviously doesnt work so I guess it isnt.  

Do I need to check the code out of cvs instead?  If so should I just
checkout the latest plugin, or get the latest src for maven?  If I need
the latest src from maven, what is the cvs target name?
