You're so right. I'm planning on this.

On the other hand, with so much discussion about
postgres and transactions, it seems appropriate to
suggest a more  general way to plug in database
access.  Some turbine users are using Castor, and
that's a lot of work for them.  

I apologize if I created too much noise.
