you can't use jikes to build turbine the first time.
it is a bug in jikes, it does not deal with dependencies between classes in
different packages correctly. once you have things built one with javac, you
can then switch to jikes to do incremental compiles.
btw, it seems like jikes development/releases have totally stalled...anyone
know what is up?
