Hello,
I noticed in the latest TDKs that someone has written an adapter for the
inet software Sprinta 2000 jdbc driver for MS SQL, which simply subclasses
the Sybase driver. So I did a build with the Sprinta2000.jar in the lib and
tried to use the resulting turbine2.0.jar with Cocoon 1.8 on Tomcat 3.1 (on
Debian Linux). No luck, it seems that the latest TDK is not compatible with
Cocoon 1.8.
Curious to know if anyone has managed to get either
1) The above combination working (i.e. Cocoon 1.8 and Turbine 2.0 with the
Inet SOftware TDS driver)
or
2) The Turbine implementation that DOES work with Cocoon 1.8 to work with
MS SQL server. I have connectivity via the esql logic sheet, but can't get
connection pooling to work (gives a driver not implemented error,
unsurprisingly).
Any guidance would be much appreciated.
Patrick
BTW, SQL Server is not my choice! Couldn't convince client to use Postgres =[
