I will do this. I'm almost done. Torque works in stand-alone
mode now, I just have to fully integrate it into the TDK, and
that will be done sometime this week. There will be another
TDK release this week. I have a small sample application
demonstrating Velocity and Peers. I believe dave is working
on a demo app for Velocity and this can probably be adapted
to use Peers for persistence and also added to the TDK.

I think the TDK is technically very close to a 1.0, but it needs
quite a bit of documentation.
