ok, (slightly different to before) I've been looking through the directory
tree
and there are two TurbineResources.properties, one in the share/conf
directory of the tdk and one in the web-app/<app-name>/web-inf/conf
directory of my new application.
I assume the one I'm supposed to edit as specified in the getting starrted
docs is the one in the later?
concerning the 'getting nothing' below, I had simply followed the read-me
instructions in the tdk, which state after following those steps as follows:
...
Verify your installation by browsing
http://localhost:8080/[appname]/servlet/[appname]
For example, if the name of your application is "test", you would use:
<http://localhost:8080/test/servlet/test>
After a little bit *, you should see a page that looks something like this:
...
and basically nothing came up, so I was not sure as to whether I first had
to put any classes in the web-app/<app-name>/web-inf/classes dir first, or
this was some default setting. If it was defult, then it still isn't
defaulting to it.
Howevere I do get:
...
This is the home page of the test hierarchy. It doesn't do too much good to
look at it directly... Instead, why don't you run the tests to find out what
you might want to know.
Oh, by the way, merry christmas.. :)
...
but haven't come across anything saying what or where any tests are.
cheers
John
