It sounds like you want to create Phillip's "nest" command before he does! :) Seriously, though, an egg management tool for the Toolbox would be very cool. My goal with this thread is not to dramatically alter the installation experience that a TG user has. I'm thinking of breaking FastData out in particular because of its relative immaturity. Otherwise, people will easy_install TurboGears and get a full-blown system, just as they have been to date.
