I simply noticed that there isn't a section named security in the documentation. I am not so expert to say what are the security problems and holes in web development in general and in the turbogears' framework in particular. But, I think that people would know what are the best practices to write secure code, and how to configure properly the turbogears applications during their deployment to be security aware. Or at least, they would know what kind of problems they will have if they don't take care so much at security issues. The php community has understood that, and has realized some guides, take a look at: http://phpsec.org/projects/ Finally, also Microsoft ended up in focusing more on security issues in their software development in general and in the .Net technology in particular, for example take a look to: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa286519.aspx http://blogs.msdn.com/shawnfa/ Microsoft also did a huge marketing campaign on their efforts to improve the security of its software. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TurboGears Trunk" group.
