I pushed two test cases to check for availability of identity inside the error controller. https://sourceforge.net/p/turbogears2/tg2/ci/03dc9349ebe9cc376e45a7342bdf7bfaa9b611d7 I could not check for actual user instance as authentication is set without SQLA, but as repoze.who.userid is there, it should be also available the user instance correctly retrieved by the MetadataProvider from DB.
