I thought the same at beginning, but then I realized that it might
cause some side effects.
We have to be really clear about that, because otherwise it would
cause to some people to discover
only at deploy time that the technologies that they have choosen won't work.

Disallowing a python version is usually a more clear statement than
disallowing an optional, not publicized on the docs and not enabled by
default template system:
