As an additional note, one of the key reasons I moved to Lighttpd is the
small memory footprint. Each instance takes around 1.5Mb vs the 12Mb
Apache was using. This lets me easily run one instance of Lighttpd *per
site*, something that would have been extremely resource-intensive with
Apache. This was the single best decision I've made wrt hosting as it
lets me take sites up and down individually without affecting the rest.
Configuring Pound does affect all sites, obviously, but Pound starts so
fast you'd be hard pressed to see it happen ;-) It's also so simple
that it's difficult to make mistakes, which is another reason I like
this combo: much harder to shoot myself in the foot, and if I do, it
will probably be in a lighttpd.conf, affecting only one site, not all of
them.

Cliff
