I know you say it works with a freshly quickstarted project, but the error seems to be occurring in the TurboGears Visit functionality. Your freshly quickstarted project may not actually use the Visit module, which could complicate matters. Have you tried the mod_rewrite method mentioned on the wiki? That might actually be a bit simpler to deal with, and is much closer to the standard way of deploying a TurboGears application. If this still doesn't work, let me know, and I will see if I can whip up a nice startup script for whatwhat that uses FastCGI, so you don't have to use the wacky `tg_fastcgi.fcgi` script from the wiki. > (aside - I think TG and Whatwhat are pretty cool, and my goal is to > demo WW to our offsite management using my personal DH account.)
