The official ORM for 1.0 is SQLObject. All docs in 1.0/* will use SQLObject exclusively unless they're specifically about SQLAlchemy. I personally prefer SA but the call has been made and I want a consistent story in the docs without a whole bunch of "if you use..." digressions. I have not been enforcing this (actually IdentityManagment is the only one that covers both ORMs) but I probably will start moving SA references to footnotes as we get the docs finalized for 1.0. > That is not very important though, but I think we should make it a > policy for the 1.1 docs :) When SA becomes the official ORM, all examples will switch to SA examples, whatever form SA support looks like at that point (straight SA, ActiveMapper, TurboEntity, whatever Jonathan LaCour and friends are currently working on, etc). Until then, SQLObject will remain as the example ORM in all the docs. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TurboGears" group.
