Nothing is for everyone, but I don't think that means we're not for "people who develop and maintain software in a stable comercial environment. if you want to maximize the stability of the API's you use, just use TurboGears 1. We plan to support it for a good long time, even after TurboGears 2 has an official release. And if lots of people keep using it and keep participating in the community, we'll keep supporting it for as long as we have people who need it and who are willing to chip in to help out. If you don't mind a couple of small API changes upgrade to TurboGears 2, and keep using Kid+SQLObject. If you need/want features from SQLAlchemy or Genshi, start using that now. They are both well supported in both TurboGears 1 and 2. If none of that sounds good to you, feel free to use Django, or Rails, or some other web framework -- but I've been watching pretty closely and I actually think TurboGears provides one of the best stories out there (for a modern dynamic language web framework) in terms of API stability. --Mark Ramm --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TurboGears" group.
