TurboGears started as a set of "best of breed" tools.  It stagnated a
bit and now we're returning to that original vision.  You'll still be
able to use the previous tools (SQLObject, Kid), but now that there are
better tools out there, it makes sense to make the switch (SQLAlchemy,
Genshi).

Writing great software is often not about preventing change, its about
embracing it!
