I just started using Turbogears. I've never used Python before, but I
got going with

- TG 1.0.4b
- SQLAlchemy
- Elixir
- Genshi

It took me about 30 minutes to get up-and-running, from installing
Python 2.5 on my machine to building a "Hello World" app which used
all those tools.

(Granted, my app has some imaging, and getting PIL w/libjpeg support
to work took about 6 hours of tracing though paths and libraries).

So, I'd say it's very easy to do. It all looks very clean and simple
to use and the docs are plenty sufficient for these.

I was originally going to use Pylons for my app, but when I read that
TG is moving to Pylons soon, I decided it would be nice to have a pre-
built stack. I'm very excited about 2.0. In the IRC chat, the idea
was for a beta mid-Oct, though Mark has said he was going to be busy
for a bit, so hopefully we'll see it soon.

[Next up are ToscaWidgets/twForms (I haven't yet been able to
understand these from the docs) and seeing if I can use AuthKit
pre-2.0.]
