Hello, sorry for this jumble of questions, but I'm in the middle of changing
horses and would appreciate some insight or advice...

I've been using Django and appreciate many of its good qualities, but I've hit
a wall and can't continue to use the Django ORM - I need to switch to
SQLAlchemy - but doing so means you basically quit using Django. My app has a
wxPython interface as well as a web interface.

I'm confused by the three (3) different TG versions (1.0, 1.1, 2).

I want to use:

    SQLAlchemy and Elixir
    jQuery (I think)

Appears I would be targeting TG 1.1 or 2. Are they stable enough for use?

How do I learn TG2? I wanted to buy the book but fear much would be N/A due to
the big changes in components. Most all the docs seem to be for the 1.0 version.

I like Django's simple templating system. And it looks like Jinga might be its
closest relative. (I just can't get warm to the heavy XMLish and
Python-code-in-the-markup style of Genshi and Kid. No offense.) How hard would
it be to use Jinga instead of Genshi?

How about using jQuery instead of Mochikit.

Thanks,
