About half of the book is still relevant for TG2...

Part I - Some sections of chapter 3 need reinterpreting
Part II - The project will work with SQLO --> SQLA translation
Part III - May be more involved to get working, but most of the topics
are relevant
Part IV - Most of Chapter 10 is useful, but skip 11 & 12 and read
Appendix A instead.
Part V - Kid templates should work in Genshi. You can still use
MochiKit. TG Widgets is now ToscaWidgets.
Part VI - TG2 doesn't use CherryPy, but still uses decorators, so just
skip filters. Methods of deploying doesn't describe running on Apache
under mod_wsgi.
Part VII - The tg-admin commands work with Paster in TG2. I18n doesn't
address Babel. Specifics of i18n may be different between SQLO and
SQLA, but it's worth checking. Testing is the same. While the
underlying auth modules are changing, they are working on a
compatibility interface.

I have yet to mine the docs that were downloaded on install. When I
first installed alpha 3, I was too busy getting things to work.
