Seriously, if there are enough SO users to care, I think a tgext.sqlobject package will be created that handles this problem for TG2, so you won't have to make the transition if you don't want to. TG would not be doing it's job if we abandoned a huge section of our users. But at the same time, we need to know that people care about this and the best way for us to judge that is for someone to start trying to make it happen.
